Trip to Mexico

It's been a long time coming, but I finally got around to making some video vignettes of my trip to Mexico to visit Mom and Dad with Josephine. We left on Monday, April 7 and came back on Monday, April 14, 2008.

When we first arrived, Mom and Dad were hosting Family Home Evening in their home and here's a quick video showing those in attendance.

This video shows us at Mom's and Dad's house and follows us as we drive around Colima.

This next video is taken when we went to a quaint little town called Comala. It is one of the oldest towns in the area and it has cute little artisan shops and a neat little museum of Alejandro Rangel's paintings and furniture.

On our 3rd day there, we took a mini trip to Manzanillo and stayed at a resort for one night.

More Max Chronicles

Here are some more pictures of Max.

Max loves to be outside especially when Daddy is mowing the lawn. Here he is helping Daddy mow the lawn with his toy lawn mower.

As you can see, he is quite the artist. This is what happens when a 2 1/2 year old is too quiet. Luckily, it was not a permanent marker and wiped off rather easily with water.

Garrett Liam Shirts - Blessing Day - June 1, 2008

On Sunday, June 1, 2008, Dee blessed Garrett at church (Lehi 33rd Ward). Phyllis, Jessica's mother-in-law, saved buttons from Dad's mission shirts after shortening the sleeves. She gave me a couple of the extra buttons from Dad's shirts and I sewed them onto Garrett's blessing outfit so that a part of Dad was present. They are the 2 larger center buttons (out of the 4). Phyllis also made Blake's blessing outfit (Jessica and Bryan's little one) and sewed some of Dad's buttons into his outfit.

There are also pictures of Garrett and Blake - can you believe they are only 4 months apart? And Max, Jaxson and Sydney wanted to get in on the picture taking, too.

Max & Garrett

Here are pictures of Max and Garrett. The one with the back of their heads shows that I have a blondie and a brunette (Mexican baby)!
